Wayne Morris, Board Certified Hearing Aid Specialist
Wayne has been serving the hearing impaired public since 1998. He has held several leadership positions in the hearing healthcare field over the last thirteen years. As a licensed hearing instrument specialist, Wayne worked one on one with hearing impaired patients. Then, as a Dispensing Group Manager and Director of Training and Clinical Development of Oklahoma’s largest hearing aid laboratory, he supervised dozens of clinicians in servicing and fitting hearing instruments.
One of his favorite roles was working closely with engineers, physicists, and manufacturing technicians. In this role, he supervised both alpha and beta studies of a hearing aid design that now accounts for a full fifty percent of hearing instruments fit globally. During the launch period of this new multiple patented technology, Wayne traveled nationally to train hundreds of clinicians in fitting, programming, and application techniques.
Wayne had an amazing time at the IHS Convention Soars in Orlando, September 10th-12th, 2016. Learning about upcoming products, continuing education to better serve our customers, and meeting a lot of hard working individuals has got us excited about changing lives through better hearing. With the dedication of the Oklahoma Hearing Aid Dispenser Association and its team members, I was honored to be presented the Society's James P. Lovell award for advancing the role of hearing aid specialists. I want to thank friends, family, and the commitment of the Oklahoma Hearing Aid Dispenser Association for guiding me each and everyday to fulfill my dream. Thank you!
